He is Professor & Head, Dept. of Statistics, University of Lucknow, Lucknow.
Previously, he served as Dean (Research), Pan-Area Chair (Decision Sciences & Analytics) etc. at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow.
He has Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics and was a CSIR-UGC Fellow in Mathematical Sciences. His
area of expertise is Machine Learning, Analytics, Data Science, Econometrics, Multivariate Data
Analysis, Decision Modeling, Optimization, Research Methodology etc.
He has wide experience of consultancy and also has taken more than three hundred fifty FDPs/MDPs in various areas. He has co-authored the famous book “Statistics for Management” (ISBN: 978-93-325-8118-0; Pearson Publications).
He has more than fifty research papers to his credit in various internationally acclaimed journals and has more than six hundred sixty google-scholar citations, including twelve h-index and twelve i-10 index as on today. Three Indian Patents have also been granted/published to him last year.
